NUCLEOTIDES AND VITAMINS

How does the external contribution of nucleotides help in regenerative processes?

A nucleotide is the basic component of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), so that the sequential union of multiple nucleotides forms the basis of our genetic information.

A nucleotide is made up of a sugar molecule attached to a phosphate group and a nitrogen-containing base.

Nucleotide

1. Nucleotides are recommended nutrients for certain life situations with higher demands[64].

Some nucleotides are present in foods of animal and vegetable origin. Nevertheless, nucleotides derived from pyrimidine such as cytidine-5-monophosphate and uridine-5-monophosphate are very difficult to obtain through the diet although they are recommended for certain demanding life situations.

2. Nucleotides have a high absorption rate[64].

There are efficient mechanisms for the digestion and absorption of nucleotides that come from the diet. In fact, the dietary intake of nucleotides represents a considerable energy saving for the cell given the high energy expenditure involved in its internal production.

  • They are absorbed and metabolised as nucleosides.
  • 90% of nucleosides and bases are captured by intestinal cells.
  • Nucleotides are rebuilt in the liver and can then be used for the body's requirements.

The supply of neurotropic B complex vitamins contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system

Vitamins are compounds that are essential for life and that participate in a wide variety of functions within the human body. Mammals cannot synthesise B vitamins on their own, so they must ingest them in sufficient quantities through their diet[65].

Dietary supplement

A support for your nervous system

Nubit, with vitamins B1 and B12 contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system[68,69]

The neurons in the peripheral nervous system can be regenerated and can recover their function after an injury, but they cannot synthesize all the needed components by themselves, including nucleotides.

Nubit is a dietary supplement based on high doses of the nucleotides uridine monophosphate and cytidine monophosphate, along with vitamins B1 and B12, which contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system and high doses of nucleotides (Uridine 5-monophosphate and Cytidine 5-monophosphate).
